College Tip #661

Hanging out with your high school friends during Thanksgiving

If you hang out with your high school friends during Thanksgiving and you realize, oh my, like, ew, I don't even like you. You're so immature. We have nothing in common anymore. Don't say that, okay? You might think it, but the things you do have in common are things that you can still be grateful for.

Sometimes the shock of reuniting and reconnecting can be a lot because you've changed and they've changed. So just be patient, give it time, and understand there are still things that you can do. bond you and connect you even if you don't feel that strong connection when you see them again.
